Affiliate Disclosure

FTC Compliance Disclosure Guidelines In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission implemented new rules to ensure compliance with disclosure requirements.

These regulations are in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web content are informed if the blogger or publisher has a sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership with another company. It is essential for readers to understand whether the content publisher is earning money through shared links or promoted products.

In accordance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following regarding links and articles on this site:

Affiliate Links: Some of the links on goidea.co.uk are affiliate links, through which I receive a small compensation for sales of specific products.

What Are Affiliate Links?

Purchases are made on external websites operated by affiliate companies. When a reader clicks on an affiliate link on goidea.co.uk to purchase a product, they are buying directly from the seller (not from goidea.co.uk).

Amazon and/or other companies provide goidea.co.uk with a modest commission or other forms of compensation for directing customers to their websites.

The prices for readers remain the same, regardless of whether they purchase through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. Clicking an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link does not affect the price or any other aspect of the transaction for the visitor.

goidea.co.uk participates in two primary affiliate programs:

Amazon Affiliate Links: goidea.co.uk is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to enable website owners to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites, as well as other websites associated with the Amazon Service LLC Associates Program.

Product Affiliate Links: If you click on a product affiliate link and make a purchase, I may receive a percentage of the sale or other compensation.

Once again, using these affiliate links does not alter the pricing for customers. Clicking through to the link will not result in higher costs. These links are not based on a “pay per click” model.

What about Sponsored Content?

I do not produce sponsored posts. My aim is to provide unbiased and authentic information. However, in the event that a company wishes to publish sponsored content on goidea.co.uk, I will clearly disclose this at the beginning of the post. My fundamental principle is to only recommend products I personally use or would recommend to my family and friends.

Your purchases contribute to supporting my research efforts. Thank you very much for your support; I genuinely appreciate it!
